Extremely Rare 1/2 penny coin from 1746 out of Great Britain km# 579.2. You can see the double strike date on the back side. The front of the coin is all messed up from the repeat striking.

The left side is too far off centered and has broken up the lettering with no edge ridges. The woman's hair has been hit twice and since it was moved to left for the second strike her hair dominates the detail of her eyes bc it would be the highest point of the coin. Finally the right side clearly has 2 sets of outer ridges and double lettering.

Was going to get this graded but decided against it. Doing so would add more to its value. This rare 1746 Great Britain 1/2 Half Penny King George coin is a unique find for any coin collector. It boasts an Error Double Stamped Variety, making it a one-of-a-kind item. The coin is colored BN and has a KM Number of 579.2.

The coin is circulated and has not been certified. The denomination is 1/2p and it was manufactured in the United Kingdom. Don't miss out on the chance to add this rare coin to your collection.
