Henry I 1100-35, Quadrilateral On Cross Fleury Penny, Type XV, Oter/Norwich, S1276, N871, BMC 282. A nice example of this scarce penny struck at Norwich with Oter as moneyer. Some areas of weakness with off-centre reverse strike, but with some detail remaining and mint/moneyer discernable in reverse legend. Crowned bust, looking three quarters l, sceptre in right hand.R: [O]TER ON NOR. Quadrilateral with curved sides, lis at each angle over cross fleury. I would grade this coin Fine (Sheldon VF25).
