This is the 1884 one penny bronze coin from the United Kingdom. The coin displays Queen Victoria on the obverse and Britannia seated and facing right on the reverse. The coin has the words VOCTORIA D: G: BRITT. REG: F: D: surrounding the queen's head with her hair pulled and facing left on the obverse. The reverse is marked "ONE PENNY 1884" surrounding the seated Britannia. The coin is graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) as About Uncirculated (AU) 58 with Brown Toning (BN). It comes in a plastic slab and is labeled by NGC. Early British coins such as these are gradually getting more difficult to find especially in such high grade.
